Today we are goin’ to Russia
3 measures frozen Stolichnaya vodka
1/2 measure Noilly Prat
Stirred not shaken in a mixing glass, strain into chilled Martini glass, garnish with olives
Stoli is the old school awesome of vodkas. I think they would be a fantastic sponsor of a party in July, don’t you? Now Noilly Prat, I had to look up online to see what it was. It’s vermouth. Apparently a very special awesome vermouth. That I’ve never heard of. So I guess I’d have to say the adaptation to this drink would be freeze up a vodka and vermouth mixture and pull it out when ready to drink. You could probably even freeze it up in a plastic beer mug meant to be put in the freezer. I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be James Bond, but I bet June Cleaver would approve.
I’m feeling a little tipsy just from READING that recipe. But I’m woman enough to try it sometime.

I love that it’s like EIGHTEEN times more alcohol than mixer.
My kind o’drink.
