I got the Bo Pleasure Object to compare to the Wireless Butterfly Ring I reviewed a while back.
Cost BPO $65.99 (free shipping); WBR $17.99 ($5.95 shipping) -winner WBR.
Material Safety BPO 4; WBR 2 -winner BPO – but both are pretty much losers.
Looks BPO sleek pretty design; WBR nubbly, slightly creepy bunny -winner – BPO
Storage BPO – has a case made to fit that can be in place while recharging; WBR – none -winner BPO
Energy source BPO – rechargeable internal battery; WBR – watch batteries -winner BPO
Stamina BPO automatically wins. the WBR lost power TWICE at “moments of need”
Solo action BPO – unsuccessful, WBR – awesome. -winner WBR
Winner – Bo Pleasure Object
The packaging and the rechargeable capability really are the big winners of this ring. It comes in two pieces – the ring and the … buzzer? sure. buzzer. when the buzzer is slid onto the ring the buzzing commences. The buzzing continues until the 2 pieces are separated or the battery fades.
The cons of this are that …. secretions had a tendency to find their way into the crevices between the two pieces. Yeah, kinda gross. BUT the good news is that they are easy to clean and not stuck someplace ‘uncleanable’ (shudder).
Separating the two pieces isn’t completely easy, and if it’s done its job, it’s like having to focus on a task like opening a childproof aspirin bottle when you have a migraine.
The feature that would make this product sing is multi speeds. When we got started I was like “zomg, EVERYONE needs one of these” after a while, the sensation got kinda muddled – one of those times where the option to kick it up a notch would have been, ahem, perfect.
I’m going to rank this on the high side though, I’m pleased to have it in our special drawer, and I think it will have many repeat performances.
