Among the swag
There’s been a lot of talk about the swag at this year’s blogHer. Great! Suckage! Cat Fights! Cameras! VIBRATORS.
So when I emptied out my bag after licking my children for about an hour loving on their sweet tiny selves and hearing them tell me the events of the past five days for them (which included: Beach, Mommy! Beach! and Car! and Gym!) among the toys and the makeup and the chocolate, my son found the thing he most wanted. The NaughtiBod.
My husband already insisted the boy not paint his toes with the new Elf Nail Polish I was using on my four year old daughter. He told him “We are MEN, Buddy. We don’t paint our toes.” So when he grabs the NaughtiBod and runs squeeing to his room, there is only one way to recover. “It’s a box of colors” I say. “It’s a TEACHABLE MOMENT” I gasp in my laughing.
And it is.

My kids’ favorite swag? The darned TCM bobblehead…my 2yo is OBSESSED with bobbleheads, and we’ll actually let him play with this one! He all but slept with it last night!
My fave item? The HD video camera from Kodak. Thanks, Kodak!

I think my favorite was the external hard drive I got for doing an interview. Or the brownie mix and frosting I got from Mommy Goggles!

Trish, I like that attitude. There was a lot of “swag” I missed out on but I found some pretty amazing ladies I loved. So it’s not so bad.
Fling Bar = Vibrator. SNORT! ZOMG. It’s yummyass chocolate. (Did you know I’ve never ONCE used a vibrator? Yea me = PRUDE. Apparently.)

Fling bar – OMG hilarious.
My daughters favorite swag item was the pink feather boa from bowlher. The same feather boa that some guy driving past in a car called me a skank for wearing. Nice.
My boys are undecided. I don’t think the teenager has even noticed that I’m home yet and the little one slept with a teeny tiny truck I brought home for him so maybe that’s it

That is funny- a box of colors! I actually was clueless about naughtybods until Saturday night. iPods and vibrators, an interesting combination. We all decided that “boom boom pow” might be a great song to try it out with. LOL
