I really do love to use what I already have. Yes, I love shopping too, but when it’s harder to find clothes that fit, shopping is less fun. A few weeks ago, I was looking at my usual clothing sites for inspiration, but I just wasn’t attracted to this, which is the hot look for spring.

I can’t get inspired when I’m too busy wondering why everyone is so frakking scrawny.
Finally, my Lane Bryant catalog came and saved me – so many basics – so many women who look like they’ve at least eaten since New Years. I stared at this photo for a good long while -
Then I stared at my closet for a good long while – I pulled out
I was out of luck on the scarf – which really is a lot of what makes the outfit. I’d just finished a bunch of yarn that I’d made from a handmade spinning batt so I pulled out the needles and went to work. The scarf isn’t as long as I would like, but I made it work.
